8:30 am to 4:30 pm lunch period: 1 hour Unpaid Assignment location: 3444 Quaker Bride Plaza Rd 12-D Quaker BridgePlaza Mercerville, NJ 08619
Job Duties:
– Knowledge of basic office equipment including a personal computer, electronic key system (EKS), telephone and headset. Ability to communicate and record information accurately. Ability to question others to determine specific needs. Ability to deal with people patiently. Ability to proofread and correct errors. Receive and place telephone calls, fill out and verify information on forms or records, as well as proofread to verify that forms are completed properly. Place calls to inquire for opinions. Place outbound calls from master list to survey, interview or gather feedback related to specific topics Ability to read, writes, speak, understand, or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of this position. Ability to learn to utilize various types of electronic and/or manual recording and information systems used by the agency, office, or related units. Ability to answer questions, effectively explain department programs and services, review forms and applications for complete ness and accuracy, provide detailed instruction and direction in the completion of applications, and resolve complex and/or sensitive issues and problems Knowledge of methods used to resolve customer inquiries and/or complaints in a tactful professional manner. Ability to performs the more complex technical duties involving the review, processing, data entering or recording, and issuance of documents in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures. Job responsibilities in Brief Provides information to customers regarding department/agency programs and services and the requirements of licensure, certification, and other authorizations. Requests information from customers to determine their needs, or purpose of call. Verifies the completeness and accuracy of information on forms and applications Answers questions, explains rules, regulations, policies and procedures, clarifies forms, provides detailed instruction and direction in the completion of applications, and resolves the more difficult and sensitive customer issues and problems.
