Summary:
This position is responsiblefor the data integrity of customer and loan information as it ispopulated within loan applications and product packages. The Sr.
Loan Coordinator (Sr. LC) is the primary associate that worksalongside the Relationship Manager (RM), in a collaborative fashionin the generation of new loan requests, renewals, modifications orother customer requests within the Bank’s loan origination system.
These loan requests will primarily be the more complexrelationships and include loans from the Bank’s niche lendinggroups. The Sr. LC is also the primary liaison between othersupporting departments within the Bank such as, Compliance, DepositOperations, Loan Documentation, Loan Servicing and Post-ClosingReview. Additionally, the Sr. LC will develop strong workingrelationships with the Bank’s external customer base, as well aswith third party vendors. The Sr. Loan Coordinator will alsosupport the LC Manager or Team Lead in the training and developmentof other Loan Coordinators during the onboarding process.
EssentialDuties and Responsibilities:
Maintains strong knowledgeable of theBank’s “credit culture” and advises the Relationship Managers ondeviations from standard practices. Acts as a resource forRelationship Managers on loan operations and the processing of loanrequests through the loan origination system. Functions as a pointof contact for other internal departments during the loan process.
Completes annual renewals, new loan requests and monthly reportingtasks independently with little to no supervision on all loantypes. Completes daily processes and maintains pace with month end,quarter end and year end volume levels. Enters customer and loaninformation into the Bank’s loan origination system with specificattention to data integrity at the point of input. Obtains allpre-closing documentation requirements, such as flood letters,title work, appraisals, entity documents, corporate searches,credit bureau reports. Interacts, both verbal and written, withclients per Relationship Manager’s direction on collecting data,documents and various general customer service requests. Reviews ofclosed loan packages to ensure no changes to loan documents weremade at closing without approval per loan policy. Processes ChangeMemos reflecting adjustments made to the loan request PostApproval. Completes recordation and collateral perfection ifapplicable. Monitors and assist in clearing exception items.
Provides guidance and training to other Loan Coordinators insupport of the Manager or Team Lead. Aids in the preparation ofmonthly monitoring reports for Unit and RM Team Assists inprocessing and responding to daily overdrafts per RM instructionsand bank policies as needed. Assembles and coordinates requiredfinancial information from Client to Credit Department for analysisas needed. Provides back-up support for other Loan Coordinatorsduring vacations and other high-volume periods. Participates oninternal committees and task forces as requested by the Manager.

Minimum highschool diploma or equivalent Associates degree preferred Minimum 5years’ Consumer and Commercial Loan Coordinator experience requiredStrong knowledge of C&I, CRE and Consumer lending processes andprocedures Previous exposure to attorney prepared documentation ispreferred
