This position focuses on managing item changes, distributor updates, and ensuring pricing and margin accuracy across specific categories. The Analyst will work closely with Category Managers, learn Pricebook operations and PDI retail software, and support various marketing initiatives, including 6 promotion periods yearly. This entry-level role is ideal for a moldable, accountable individual comfortable with routine tasks and occasional projects, who possesses strong organizational and communication skills. Primary Responsibilities Work closely with and become familiar with Package Beverage, Beer, and Wine categories. Assist the Senior Manager, Pricebook and Marketing Systems with vendor relationship management, understanding their strategies and promotional initiatives for Pricebook and Loyalty systems. Handle all new item setups and cost management for assigned categories, actively working with the Category Manager to verify margins are accurate to increase sales and profitability. Monitor and handle all distribution changes for assigned categories. Learn the PDI Enterprise Retail software and assist the Pricebook Manager with initiatives like Promotion Setup, Pricebook Clean Up, Nomenclature, and Line-Item Pricing Audits. Manage administrative oversight tasks including item changes and distributor updates. Assist with the electronic invoice process, including daily monitoring, troubleshooting, and research. Assist with other marketing department needs as they arise at the request of the Senior Manager, Pricebook and Marketing Systems. Maintain confidentiality of all company, client, employee, and vendor information. Perform other duties as assigned and react productively to change. Required Qualifications Entry-Level experience; recent college graduates with some marketing exposure are encouraged. Intermediate Excel skills. Strong attention to detail. Solid communication skills. Highly organized and adaptable. Ability to take direction and shift priorities effectively. Strong sense of accountability; ability to own mistakes and escalate appropriately. Comfortable handling both redundant routine tasks and occasional projects. Ability to work well with others and reasonably adapt to conflicting priorities. Ability to be self-accountable and meet deadlines. Valid State issued Driver’s License. 18+ years of age. Preferred Qualifications Associate’s degree in Marketing. Previous experience in a retail environment. Experience with PDI software is a plus (but not required). Desire to learn the C-Store business.
