DESCRIPTION
The Marketing Associate will support various marketing initiatives across the bank to ensure continuity in marketing efforts. This part-time role will lead special projects and project management, assist with content creation, event coordination, and administrative tasks, as well as support other marketing initiatives as needed. The position requires adaptability, creativity, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively to support evolving marketing needs.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead or assist in special projects, ensuring timely and effective execution.
Coordinate and support events, promotions, sponsorships, and community engagement activities.
Support the Marketing Director with various tasks and reporting as needed.
Manage and maintain marketing databases, files, and administrative processes for efficiency and consistency.
Assist with developing, editing, and proofreading marketing materials including brochures, newsletters, emails, website content, presentations, and social media posts.
Provide research, insights, and recommendations to improve marketing strategies and processes.
Collaborate with the marketing team and external agency on advertising, marketing efforts, and special initiatives.
Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels.
Other duties as assigned by management.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
High school diploma or equivalent.
3+ years’ experience in marketing support, administrative or coordinator role.
Strong organizational, communication, and technical skills, with the ability to enhance processes and procedures to improve team efficiency.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Proven ability to maintain positive relationships with partners, bank staff and the community.
Resourceful, adaptable and proactive, with a willingness to take on new challenges.
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration or a related field preferred; or equivalent experience.
Excellent organizational, planning, multi-tasking and project management abilities.
Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners, excelling in a team-oriented environment.
Familiarity with budget management and financial reporting.
