un ⚐ ⚑ ⚑ Magician’s Assistant (Birmingham) compensation: $200-300 per show and $15/hr in rehearsal I need a female to be a Magician’s Assistant for some upcoming Magic Shows. No experience is necessary, but experience in performing arts including (but not limited to) Acting, Dancing, Gymnastics and other arts is preferred. Costumes will be skimpy, so you must be willing to wear skimpy costumes. Duties will include helping to set up equipment, moving magic equipment on and off stage, spoken lines and other performing tasks, depending on your strengths and weaknesses. You will get inside boxes and perform illusions such as being sawed in half and other illusions, so you must not be claustrophobic or afraid of saws, swords or similar items.
