Marketing and Events Assistant Salsa Mingle LLC Melbourne, FL 32935 • Hybrid work Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Event Assistant to join Salsa Mingle. This is an independent contractor position. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the marketing outreach. Emailing potential venues to schedule a meeting with the owner and possibly close the deal on another Salsa event. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a passion for dance. Duties Assist in the organization of spreadsheets and emails Occasionally attending vendor events with owner to promote the brand Keeping calendar updated of upcoming Salsa Mingle events Collaborate with vendors when necessary Some hours are worked at events and most are worked with the owner or remotely Possibly some social media tasks like resharing event dates Experience Previous experience in guest services or customer service roles is preferred. Familiarity with event planning or dance studio experience Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks Some marketing experience A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail.
