Full Job Description Job Summary:

The Marketing and Office Assistant, is a professional who provides support for company marketing initiatives. Their duties include conducting market and prospect research, organizing marketing campaigns and events, creating and coordinating marketing content and facilitating cross-functional team efforts. This role will also act as a receptionist.

Marketing Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the development and execution of the company’s marketing and branding strategies
  • Developing original copy for social media platforms, websites and printed advertising materials
  • Actively taking part in marketing campaigns and organizing meetings and conferences
  • Monitoring marketing industry news and submitting reports on emerging trends to management
  • Supporting internal communication campaigns to effectively distribute key information
  • Doing market research, analyzing forecasts and performing competitive analysis
  • Preparing marketing sales and trend reports
  • Understanding brand guidelines and consistently implementing the brand voice across all marketing materials
  • Informing the sales teams about campaign objectives and deliverables
  • Assist with maintaining the company website
Receptionist Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manages Front Desk area and operations including greeting and assisting guests
  • Acts as company Notary as needed
  • Sort mail and distribute, manage the postage meter
  • Answer phone and website inquiries, respond to customer in queries in a polite and timely manner
  • Office supply orders and Costco runs
  • Take minutes at all employee meetings
  • Keep kitchen, breakroom and bathrooms stocked
  • Order company attire
  • Perform other clerical duties such as filing and photocopying
  • Assist Office Manager as needed.
  • Prepare conference room for meetings with lunches, refreshments, etc.

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • High school diploma or the equivalent is required; Some college coursework in marketing is preferred.
  • Experience with digital marketing tools and creating content.
