Position Highlights:
The Development Marketing Assistant supports donor relations and fundraising efforts through a mix of administrative and marketing tasks. Responsibilities include handling phone and mail inquiries, maintaining donor records, scheduling meetings, processing invoices, and managing correspondence. This position will assist with digital marketing, coordinating print and digital materials, organizing fundraising events and ensuring brand consistency. The successful candidate requires strong communication, organization and attention to detail while interacting professionally with donors, faculty, staff, and vendors. It is a dynamic opportunity to contribute to both the operational and creative aspects of fundraising and marketing initiatives.
Select Responsibilities:
Administrative Support to the Donor Relations team: Handles all incoming mail for the Foundation, distributing it to the appropriate team members for processing. Assist with answering the main Foundation phone line, managing inquiries, directing calls, and providing general support.
Fundraising Activity Support:
Assists with marketing email creation, website content and various digital tools.
Department Assistance and Employee On-boarding:
Assist with employee education, onboarding tasks, and supports the department as needed.
Credentials and Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED required. Minimum of two (2) years of office experience. Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office products to include producing and editing communications for online channels such as email, website, and social media. Must be self-motivated, proactive, energetic, creative and goal oriented. Must have excellent speaking, phone, writing, and interpersonal skills. Organized, detail oriented and efficient in completing tasks on time. Ability to interact with discretion effectively and professionally with various constituents to include clinical programs, faculty, staff, vendors, donors, and Board members.
Preferred:
Experience in fundraising, sales, or marketing environment preferred. Prior project management experience. Demonstrated proficiency in managing online communities, digital marketing components, brand awareness, and layout and graphics.
