Marketing & Bookings Assistant Description:
Urbanity Dance seeks a part-time Marketing & Bookings Assistant to join its passionate and collaborative administrative team. A successful candidate will help manage theanization’smunications, social media, and publicity efforts. Working closely with the Director of Marketing, the Marketing & Bookings Assistant will strive to create operational efficiencies for the Company’s artistic endeavors, as well as promote Urbanity’s brand and broaderanizational activities and events. Marketing Maintain and contribute to updating Urbanity’s Assist with creating weekly newsletters through Urbanity’s marketing platform, Robly Design and create content for Urbanity’s social media through Canva Brainstorm and execute video content for Tik Tok and Reels Generate text copy for ads and promotional materials Jump into supporting tasks across departments while keeping a team player mindset Bookings Collaborate in sourcing and securing talent for external bookings Support the coordination of schedules between Urbanity’s school performances and Arts for Learning MA manage andanize performances Assist with payroll needs for hired dancers
Schedule:
This is a part-time position, 12 hours/week. Work is primarily in-person with regular in-personmitments each week. Some hybrid work may be discussed with the position supervisor if necessary. Actively engaging in Urbanity’smunity first hand is a priority.
Salary:
$20/hour

- 1 hour of paid sick time per 30 hours worked per MA state law, up to 40 hours per year

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
Administrative experience, preferably in a marketing role Proficiency with MS Office/Google Apps Proficiency withmon social media platforms (, , TikTok, etc) Experience with Canva Excellent problem-solving skills Detail-oriented Experience with/aptitude for working in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Adobe Photoshop Experience with dance / other nonprofit artsanizations
