Marketing Generalist Position Available In Watauga, North Carolina

JOB SUMMARY / DESCRIPTION ECRS

is seeking a quality-oriented, deadline-driven Marketing Generalist. This role supports a variety of marketing functions, including but not limited to planning and executing trade shows, marketing events, and marketing campaigns, social media management, and content creation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Support marketing and advertising promotional activities, including but not limited to compiling reports on ad performance, writing copy for ads, and maintaining the ad placement calendar. Assist with coordinating, organizing, and executing marketing events, including but not limited to finding and contracting venues, ordering trade show services, ordering food and beverage as needed, and developing communications to internal and external stakeholders. Oversee the Corporate Gift Program and assist with sending gifts to retailers and industry partners. Assist with managing ECRS and reciProfity social media accounts, including creating content, scheduling posts, and reporting on performance. Assist with creating and developing content, including but not limited to designing graphics, recording videos, writing blog posts, and publishing webinar content. Support lead management, including but not limited to qualifying leads, entering leads into the company CRM, and reporting on the quality of leads. Support the marketing team in building and scheduling marketing eBlasts. Assist with managing the company CRM by cleaning data records. Collect quantitative and qualitative data for marketing campaigns. Assist with distributing marketing materials to employees, such as company swag and sales collateral. Support the ECRS Marketing team in daily administrative tasks such as monitoring the department’s email. Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of the ECRS Marketing team.

QUALIFICATIONS

Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field or equivalent experience. An understanding of the concept and scope of the marketing industry and best practices. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. Knowledge of WordPress and/or Adobe Creative Suite a major plus, but not required. Solid understanding of different marketing techniques. Ability to self-direct to complete responsibilities, meet deadlines, and multitask. Strong desire to learn and a high professional drive. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
