Job Description:

The Marketing Assistant will support the daily operations of the Marketing Department by contributing to campaign execution, content creation, digital asset management, and cross-departmental coordination. This role plays a key part in maintaining consistent brand communication and helping drive marketing initiatives forward.

Duties to include:

• Conduct QA audits of the CDM website, identifying and reporting broken links, outdated content, pricing discrepancies, and related issues.
• Manage and update product photography, including capturing new images and creating visual assets for promotional use (social media, ads, press releases).
• Track and manage inventory of promotional materials and branded merchandise.
• Coordinate posting of company social media content, email campaigns, and SMS outreach.
• Support website updates using Shopify and administrative tools.
• Manage ecommerce order flow, collaborating with Sales to ensure accuracy and timely responses.
• Utilize analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush).

Required Travel:

Light (10%).

Desired Skills & Experience:

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in graphic design using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Lightroom) and Canva
• Proficiency with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, LinkedIn).
• Familiarity with email marketing tools (Constant Contact, MailChimp).
• Working knowledge with ecommerce platforms such as Shopify or similar.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices.
• Experience with DSLR cameras and fundamental photo/video production skills, including an understanding of ISO settings, aperture (f-stop), and shutter speed.

Highly Desired Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Experience in Product Photography
• Working knowledge of Shopify or similar ecommerce platforms.
• Experience in video editing and production.
• Familiarity with AI-powered marketing tools (automation, chatbots, content generation).
