Fun science, engineering and technology education program for kids has an opening for someone who can organize events, plan and implement marketing, run our social media and other communications AND can help teach our after school classes in Manhattan. Perfect if you love crafts and “making things”, enjoy working with elementary school age children and want to work in a small successful company. We need someone who will help create instruction documents for products we are creating design, organize and implement social media activities help organize special events coordinate marketing efforts write clearly and concisely work with groups of kids in the afternoons be comfortable working in a non-traditional education environment have experience working with groups of children be a creative maker, crafts person If you are a creative individual who loves “making things”, working with children, has excellent graphic design, communications and social media skills and wants a big role in a small successful organization, please contact us. This position can be full time or part time. Definitely on site, in person. Remote is not an option. We run two programs, Skill Mill NYC, a tech craft center for teens and adults and Dazzling Discoveries, a hands-on STEM education program in New York City. We have our own facilities where we run science, engineering, crafts, electronics and 3D printing and laser cutter classes. Our programs for kids include after school classes, in-school programs, camps and events at our location and at schools throughout Manhattan. Cover letter essential.
