Position Overview:
We’re seeking a dynamic Marketing & Social Content Associate to capture, curate, and share the Strong’s lifestyle across digital channels. This associate-level role blends creativity with execution — from producing organic social media content and reels, to supporting marketing campaigns and boat shows. You’ll collaborate across departments and locations, working hands-on to help drive engagement, grow our brand presence, and ultimately support sales success.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation & Media Production Lead video & photo production efforts, including planning, filming, and editing content for digital campaigns, social media, website, and events. Operate drones to capture high-quality aerial videos and photos of boats, marinas, and events, ensuring visually compelling and brand-aligned content. Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and team to develop creative concepts that support key business initiatives and seasonal campaigns. Capture organic, lifestyle-focused content through on-site work at Strong’s locations and off-site events. Visit all Strong’s locations and attend off-site events to capture engaging, organic content Partner with individual salespeople to create engaging video and photo content. Support the presentation of online boat inventory with professional photos and videos that drive interest and conversions. Social Media Management Manage and grow social channels for Strong’s Marine, Strong’s Yachts, Strong’s Water Club, and Atlantique on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Plan and schedule posts and reels aligned with brand strategy and sales initiatives. Actively engage with partners, manufacturer accounts, and followers. Report on social media performance and suggest optimizations. Event Marketing & Support Support on-the-ground marketing at events and boat shows, including setup and breakdown, content capture, and live posting. Collaborate with the marketing team to use event content in email, website, and promotional campaigns. Capture real-time content at events and boat shows, including drone and video footage.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree preferred, with at least 2 years of experience in a marketing, media, or content creation role. Familiarity with boating, recreation, luxury goods, or event-based industries is a strong plus. Skilled in drone operation and video production (FAA Part 107 certification preferred). Proficient in tools such as Adobe Premiere, Lightroom, Canva, or similar platforms. Skills & Competencies Creative storyteller with a strong visual eye. Skilled in multitasking, project organization, and meeting deadlines. Tech-savvy and experienced with social platforms and digital content tools. Detail-oriented and driven to deliver polished, high-quality work. Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across teams. Strong communicator who can adapt quickly to shifting priorities. Willing to travel across Long Island (and occasionally NY/CT) and work nights/weekends for events. Friendly, upbeat, and enthusiastic — a team player who brings positive energy Work Environment Work takes place in a variety of settings including offices, marinas, boat shows, and events — sometimes on boats or traveling by water. Travel by land, air, and water as needed for shoots or business trips. Occasional overnight lodging and extended travel for events.
