Foot & Ankle and Trauma, to manage and support downstream marketing initiatives within the Foot & Ankle and Trauma portfolio. The successful candidate will build relationships with key customers and internal departments to help drive new business development and manage a team. The position does require travel. Main Objective:
The Group Product Marketing Manager will lead, plan, and execute downstream marketing for Arthrex products in US and international markets. Directly supervises employees in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training and developing employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Work closely with Product Director and product team to develop and manage promotional planning and execution for products and brands at Arthrex First point of contact for all corporate marketing initiatives for a product group, including tradeshow support, advertising management, website development support, sales tools and international downstream marketing efforts
Work closely with product management to set priorities for promotional focus and efforts to best allocate resources to key growth product families
Develop marketing plans that include targeting, value proposition, key messaging, market analysis, competitive analysis, promotional planning, trade show strategy, sales tool development, digital and web strategy and a revenue walk for each product category
Manage all sales training efforts for a product team
Work with upstream product management and PMO to develop and execute Product Launch Plans for new products including key messaging, photography, videos, marketing materials, sales tools, ads, white papers and trade show strategy for important new products
Prepare marketing reviews for the Product Director and product team leadership
Meet regularly with the Product Director, necessary members of the Product Team and MarComm leadership to discuss priorities and timelines for product promotional assets and campaigns
Work with Product and Sales teams to develop tools and resources to support sales efforts in the field
Provide creative direction on campaigns, marketing materials, sales tools, ads, etc. and review and communicate campaign messaging and strategy regularly with the product managers for key initiatives
Provide technical expertise and training to other departments in support of product marketing management
Work with HCP consultants to develop promotional ideas, review materials, research opportunities and educational presentations to support key products and techniques
Establish and review marketing analytics to support messaging, product focus, and promotional planning
Organize and maintain global market analysis Work closely with Marketing Team PMO to effectively move assets through the review and approval process in the MRM system Manage one or more direct reports
Travel for training, meetings, and trade shows may be required up to 20%
In-office, Naples FL-based position; not remote
Ensure compliance within functional area and support the compliance objective of the organization as a whole.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business, engineering or clinical.
Master’s degree or equivalent preferred. 10 years related experience required (product management/sales/marketing/clinical)
Orthopedic experience preferred. Understanding of product life cycle (all functions involved in development, production, and marketing of product) is preferred. Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or
Training:
Knowledge of surgical orthopedics and/or arthroscopy. Skilled in working with different functions and effectively coordinates their activities to achieve desired results. Excellent listening skills, including the ability to identify and isolate customers concerns or objections, in addition to excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent public speaking and presentation skills are required.
Proven success in developing and executing promotional campaigns for product launches.
