The associate provides oversight and serves as the primary contact for center staff in regards to the websites and leads and/or supports other digital communication mediums. They contribute to the development of the digital media strategic plan and calendar, and is responsible for the implementation of that plan. The Digital Marketing Manager assumes lead responsibility on websites for Tampa YMCA and YMCA of the Suncoast and ensures that both associations are compliant with YUSA Brand Guidelines and meeting Association needs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing Quality and Innovation The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for: Leading the creation and execution of the association’s innovative digital plans that incorporate but not limited to websites, email and digital campaigns, inclusive of analytics and reporting to drive positive membership experience, connection & engagement, program registrations, retention and member satisfaction. Assisting with the connection of digital media execution and path to purchase on websites. Ensuring digital media ‘voice’, messaging and graphics are compliant with the Y brand and align with association(s) strategic plan(s). Assisting in the strategy and lead on delivery of marketing/communications emails. Research and review trends in digital media to further enhance the association’s plans. Tracking website analytics and data related to digital media effectiveness and make appropriate adjustments and recommendations based on the data. This position will also provide support to the overall marketing efforts of the association and will perform other related duties as needed. Occasional evening and weekend work likely, reliable transportation required. Manages online listings. Serves as YUSA’s digital team & website agencies (ImageX) liaison. Note:
This job is performed as an employee of the Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA and supports the Suncoast YMCA through a formalized organizational agreement. YMCAs at times may have different visions and require different methods to address communication needs.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education/ Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field with coursework in website management, innovation, and maintenance. Proficiency in Drupal preferred, but proficiency in WordPress (or similar) required. Basic understanding of HTML, fluency preferred. Experience working with Google Analytics and Search Console. A minimum of two years of experience working with marketing technology.

analytical pattern recognition, agile project management, experimental curiosity and rigor, systems thinking, adaptability in a fast-paced environment, and problem-solving skills. The candidate must possess solid oral and written communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently as well as be a member of a highly-skilled team. Must be creative, resourceful, service-oriented, and reliable while working on multiple projects to meet tight deadlines. Must be proficient in navigating web-based programs and knowledgeable in basic electronic media terminology and frameworks. Knowledge of AI applications and emerging digital platforms that enhance organizational effectiveness and user engagement is preferred.
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Must obtain within 30 days of employment and then maintain current certifications in CPR, First Aid, AED and Oxygen Administration. Maintain other required certifications as stated in the training. WORK ENVIRONMENT and

Ability to work in a variety of environments, specifically those subject to extreme humidity/dampness, heat and cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. However, the candidate will need to manage a work environment with a consistent noise level (moderate to high) and frequent distractions. This position may require availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
