Job DescriptionReporting to the VP of Marketing Strategy, the Marketing Strategy Manager is a key player in Telemundo’s entertainment marketing strategy, responsible for orchestrating promotional campaigns across various entertainment properties, including scripted series, reality shows, and specials. This role involves managing projects, collaborating with diverse stakeholders, building campaign amplification plans, and overseeing promotional assets throughout the organization. The ideal candidate will excel in strategic planning, stakeholder management, and campaign execution, ensuring cohesive marketing efforts that span multiple platforms and properties within the Telemundo and NBCU ecosystems.
QualificationsBasic Requirements:
Strategic Planning and ExecutionIn-depth understanding of our target audience as well as our productDevelopment of marketing strategic briefsPresent promotional strategy decks to internal/external stakeholders.
Build amplification plans across owned and earned mediaAssist in managing launch campaigns and ongoing promotion for all Entertainment properties.
Lead end-to-end promotional ownership of various Entertainment Priorities.
Stakeholder CollaborationCollaborate with stakeholders and other departments, including Creative, social/digital, network shows, external partners, local stations, and PR.Asset Management and DistributionRequest promotional assets through various operational systems.
Distribute on-air and off-air promotional elements for all Entertainment properties across stakeholders.
Campaign Management and AnalysisConduct marketing campaign recaps for each property.
Assist in identifying cross-promotion opportunities and synergies across Telemundo and NBCU outlets.
Project ManagementOrganize and participate in brainstorming sessions.
Coordinate planning with stakeholders.
Manage talent requests.

This role requires strong interpersonal skills and entrepreneurial spirit. An organized self-starter, who can combine a thorough understanding of the marketing opportunities and needs, with effective written and verbal communication skills.
This role requires an individual who can adapt to changing priorities. A person that is comfortable managing pressure and someone who genuinely enjoys building and maintaining valuable relationships with key partners.
Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate details to senior management. Outstanding presentation skills are a must. Solid storytelling skills for business presentationsFluency in Spanish and English is a must.
Minimum of 5 years of experience, ideally in media or entertainment.
Requires some travel.
Knowledge of entertainment programming formats, including scripted series, reality shows, and specials is preferred.
