Position Overview The Marketing & Community Sales manager leads all marketing and sales engagement efforts tied to Terra’s builder program, with a focus on Dream Finders Homes and adjacent communities. This role manages field teams, drives homeowner awareness, supports DFH sales rep training, and executes neighborhood-level marketing activations that directly increase solar adoption. Positioning & Scope Field marketing, sales enablement, and community engagement Direct leadership of community-level team leads and support reps Owns adoption, awareness, and conversion at the community level Key Responsibilities Train and support DFH sales reps to effectively pitch and convert solar adoption Manage team leads or community engagement reps in DFH neighborhoods Plan and oversee events, signage rollouts, and homeowner outreach efforts Ensure Terra is visible, trusted, and professionally represented in every DFH community Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Lead Generation teams Track community-by-community adoption rates and optimize field tactics
Interfaces Internal:
Sales, Marketing, Head of Lead Generation, Field Reps, Community Managers External:
DFH Sales Agents, Local Influencers, Homebuyers, Community Event Hosts Key Metrics Homeowner adoption and conversion rates Number and effectiveness of community events and activations Appointment volume through DFH reps Feedback and satisfaction from DFH sales teams Brand visibility and campaign consistency across locations
Qualifications Education :
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience :
3-5 years of experience in sales, sales training, or sales enablement, preferably within the renewable energy, technology, or B2B sectors. Proven track record of success in sales, with experience in direct sales and managing sales processes from lead generation to closing. Experience in developing and delivering training programs for sales teams, with a focus on improving sales performance and skills. Ability to travel 50% of the time within operating Markets in the US (Florida, Texas, North Carolina, etc.)
Skills :
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate a diverse sales team. Familiarity with sales enablement platforms, CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.), and analytics tools to track and optimize performance. Ability to analyze sales performance data and create actionable insights that drive improvement. Knowledge of renewable energy products and solutions is a plus, but not required.
