out of 5 stars 15800 NW 42 Avenue, Miami Gardens, FL 33054 The Marketing Manager shall have the primary responsibilities for planning, implementing, and managing marketing strategies to promote the university’s mission and goals. The Marketing Manager will play a vital role in shaping the university’s brand image, and contributing to the overall success of the university marketing.

Essential Functions:

Develops broad marketing communication plans and strategies. Oversees Web design, Web content and social media. Responsible for overall marketing communication budget, including events and advertising. Develops plans and oversees execution of medium to large complex events. Writes and develops communication content such as promotional material, ads, feature stories, Web content, social media and press releases. Refines messages and objectives and adapts writing style to audience. Assesses effectiveness of communications by defining metrics and methodology for measuring results. Contributes to the development of institutional communication, branding/identity and marketing standards. Oversees development of department, college or division brands within institutional guidelines. Functions as technical expert in marketing communication trends, design and use of technology and social media. Manages and provides guidance to staff and student employees, designers, writers, photographers and other vendors. Functions resource for staff. Responds to internal and external inquiries.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Digital marketing skills. Proficiency in online marketing areas such as social media, email, search engine optimization (SEO) are essential. Marketing manager also need to know how to use digital analytics tools for data-driven decision-making. Analytical skills. Marketing managers analyze market trends, customer behavior, and campaign performance. They use data analysis tools to gain actionable insights. Project management abilities. Strong organizational skills are needed to oversee multiple projects simultaneously. Marketing manager must have experience in using project management tools to ensure campaigns are on time and successful. Marketing technology (MarTech) proficiency. Knowledge of marketing automation tools, CRM (customer relationship management) systems, and other relevant MarTech solutions is key. Additionally, this role requires being adept at using technology for efficient campaign execution and analysis. Graphic design skills. A basic understanding of graphic design principles is required for content creation and development. Collaboration with design teams and agencies creates visually appealing marketing materials. Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed to present campaigns and collaborate with other teams. The ability to write compelling and clear messaging for a range of diverse audiences is also a plus. Ability to think creatively and develop innovative marketing campaigns creates marketing content that the target audience can relate to. Marketing managers must have the flexibility to adapt to changing market trends, consumer behavior, and industry dynamics. Additionally, they need the ability to pivot strategies based on any changes in the industry. This role involves guiding and inspiring the rest of the team. Minimum requirements:

A bachelor’s degree in related field from an accredited institution. Common fields of study include marketing, business administration, communications, or a related discipline. 3 years of experience in marketing, preferably in a higher education setting.
