We’re seeking a strategic and results-driven Sales and Marketing Director to lead our sales operations and marketing systems to achieve our significant expansion goals. Position Overview The Sales and Marketing Director will primarily focus on building and optimizing our sales operations infrastructure and systems. This includes developing robust sales processes, implementing effective CRM utilization, creating sales funnels, establishing pipeline management protocols, and building comprehensive dashboard reporting. The role extends to executing marketing strategies that drive venue bookings, increase revenue, and enhance brand recognition across our portfolio of wedding venues. Additionally, this position will support the CEO’s venue expansion initiatives by creating efficient systems and processes for venue partner acquisition. This position will be instrumental in our growth journey, initially overseeing our social media coordinator and in-house event sales manager, with the team expanding as we scale. This role reports directly to the CEO/Owner and works collaboratively with the Venue & Bar Operations Manager on cross-functional initiatives. Key Responsibilities Sales Leadership & Operations Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize venue bookings and revenue Set and achieve sales targets across all venues Build out comprehensive sales funnels and lead nurturing sequences Establish sales processes, workflows, and reporting systems to drive accountability and results Create and maintain opportunities/pipeline management systems using GoHigh Level Develop dashboards and reporting tools to monitor sales performance Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement Work closely with venue managers to understand unique selling points and market positioning Oversee and mentor the in-house event sales manager Train team members on sales operations tools, CRM usage, and pipeline management Conduct wedding venue tours when needed, serving as backup to the event sales manager Marketing Strategy Create and execute comprehensive marketing plans to attract ideal wedding clients Develop brand positioning and messaging that resonates with target audiences Manage marketing budget effectively across digital and traditional channels Plan, organize, and execute engaging open house events at venues, coordinating with the event sales manager and social media coordinator Oversee content creation and distribution across all platforms Collaborate with the contracted social media coordinator to ensure cohesive marketing messaging the social media coordinator Implement lead generation campaigns to support sales goals Collaborate with website contractors on messaging and copy development for venue websites Provide strategic input on website content to ensure alignment with sales and marketing goals Digital Marketing & Technology Lead our digital marketing efforts including website optimization, SEO, SEM, and email marketing Manage our CRM and marketing automation systems (primarily GoHigh Level) Develop and manage paid advertising campaigns including Google Ads and social media advertising Analyze digital marketing metrics and optimize campaigns for maximum ROI Create regular reports on marketing performance, lead generation, and ROI for executive leadership Stay current with digital marketing trends and implement innovative strategies Ensure seamless integration between marketing tools and sales processes Develop and manage automated email marketing sequences for lead nurturing and client communication Team Development Build and lead a growing sales and marketing team as the company expands Provide mentorship, training, and professional development opportunities Establish performance metrics and accountability systems Conduct quarterly performance reviews and stay interviews with team members Foster a culture of excellence, creativity, and results Business Growth Collaborate with executive leadership on expansion strategies Work side-by-side with the Venue & Bar Operations Manager to ensure alignment between sales/marketing initiatives and operational capabilities Support the CEO/owner in venue expansion efforts by developing systems to capture and process venue partnership inquiries Create and optimize digital workflows, inquiry forms, and backend processes for onboarding new venue partners Identify market opportunities and develop plans to capitalize on them Contribute to long-term business planning and revenue forecasting Represent the company at industry events and build strategic partnerships Build the foundation for future team expansion as the company scales, developing systems and processes that can support a growing marketing and sales department QualificationsRequired Skills & Experience 5+ years of progressive experience in sales and marketing leadership roles Experience in
