Marketing and Promotions Coordinators The Marketing Manager is responsible for the management of all Ruth Eckerd Hall, Inc. events marketing through processes set forth by the Director of Marketing. Th Marketing Manager will assist in all advertising planning and execute all advertising and media buying as well as oversee promotions and grassroots efforts for all events. The primary goal for the Marketing Manager is to manage marketing initiatives that drive revenue.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assist the Director of Marketing with the development of all event marketing plans including advertising, media buying and promotions for all Ruth Eckerd Hall, Inc. events Plan, Coordinate and implement broadcast schedules, promotions, print advertising, digital advertising, grassroots marketing and other media placements for all events Maintain up-to-date marketing budgets for all Ruth Eckerd Hall, Inc. performances Work with Director to create on-sale & closing plans for all events, plus executing once approved Collaborate with tours and co-promoters to strategize marketing plans Responsible for recording in budgets any changes to show plans including updating graphics team Monitor event sales with daily ticket reports and identify shows that need attention and create plans to implement to boost sales Work closely with the Director of Marketing to strategize and implement special offers Oversee the trafficking of the print ads, radio spots, TV spots, etc. Plan with Director content of Event Schedules, Rack Cards, etc. including allocating money in budgets Managing the preparation, compilation and approval of all marketing invoices for settlements Responsible for accuracy, placement, back-up and billing of all placed advertising Input final ticket goal & revenue goals in budgets as shows happen Work closely with the Director of Marketing to strategize season planning and responsible for execution of plans Responsible for leading process development for the marketing team Supervise the design, proof and approval of any print advertisements with final review & approval by the Director of Marketing & VP of Marketing Participate in the creation and implementation of audience development strategies Work closely with promotions coordinators to identify new off-site events that will provide promotional exposure for Ruth Eckerd Hall, manage implementation of set up and securing of volunteers and necessary materials Host weekly meetings with promotion coordinators to determine promotional materials needed for upcoming events and brainstorming new contest ideas Manage and provide leadership, guidance, coaching and support to promotions coordinators Implement and oversee the management of the marketing intern program Oversee the production, delivery and distribution of all promotional handouts Assist in the evaluation and implementation of annual media and promotional deals Participate in the brainstorming sessions with the team
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
Two or more years of marketing or advertising experience preferred Prior live events and/or venue experience preferred
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communication or Business Management required
Demonstrated Skills or Knowledge:

Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel Additional Responsibilities:
Professionally represent Ruth Eckerd Hall at all times Attend various organizational meetings Represent the Marketing Department at select events Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and select holidays Complete all other duties as assigned
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. Ability to operate a computer terminal and basic office machines Ability to work outdoors in various climates Ability to maintain good attendance is a condition of employment and a function of this position

Ability to drive with a valid driver’s license and safe driving record Successful completion of a background check and drug screen.
