Position Description We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Brand Campaign Manager to join our growing marketing team. Reporting into the VP, Integrated Marketing, Brand & Operations, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns for select tentpole moments across U.S. Soccer’s annual marketing calendar. This individual will drive go-to-market planning and campaign execution for high-impact events and marquee initiatives. Captaining campaign planning from concept through to execution, you’ll turn positioning into powerful narratives, build scalable frameworks, and orchestrate multi-channel programs that deliver measurable impact. This role requires a collaborative leader with a deep understanding of cross-channel marketing strategy, exceptional project management skills, and a passion for connecting fans with the sport. You will help identify the most effective channels to drive brand awareness, engagement, and ultimately, conversion, ensuring alignment with overarching marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will serve as the connective tissue between internal departments and external partners, ensuring seamless coordination and best-in-class activations. Primary Responsibilities
Campaign Planning & Execution:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (creative, media, growth marketing, content, fan experiences, etc.) to plan, implement, and optimize integrated marketing campaigns for key tentpole moments that align with marketing priorities and strategies, from concept to post-event analysis. Drive long-lead campaign planning, including timeline development, budget coordination, and resource allocation
Brand Marketing Calendar Management:
Own the go-to-market calendar and drive alignment across internal teams and external agencies/vendors
Channel Strategy Development:
Collaborate alongside the Growth Marketing team to identify and evaluate the most effective media channels (digital, traditional, social, etc.) to drive both upper-funnel awareness and lower-funnel conversions, based on specific marketing goals and audience insights
Audience Segmentation & Mapping:
Work closely with the analytics and audience insights teams to understand target demographics, behavior, and preferences. Use these insights to develop channel strategies that are tailored to meet specific audience needs
Market Trend Analysis:
Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices in channel management. Provide thought leadership on new opportunities to engage our target audiences and drive measurable results
Reporting & Insights:
Prepare regular performance reports and communicate key insights to senior leadership. Track KPIs and identify actionable insights to refine future brand campaign strategies
Reach Amplification:
Working with Communications leads to ensure all campaigns are amplified with a support plan to unlock earned media and maximize reach Requirements Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
3-5 years of experience in campaign management, brand marketing, or go-to-market strategy, preferably in sports, entertainment, or lifestyle brands
Proven track record of managing complex, multi-channel campaigns across earned, owned, and paid media
The ideal candidate will be data-driven, collaborative, and have a deep understanding of marketing trends, audience behavior, and media landscapes
Strong understanding of both upper-funnel and conversion-driven marketing strategies
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable media strategies
Excellent communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and evolving environment
A strong, balanced blend of high EQ + IQ. Not only should this candidate be a smart critical thinker, but they must also display the aptitude to navigate through interpersonal relationships with a high sense of self-awareness
Significant experience designing and executing marketing strategy around the different user journeys via physical and digital marketing channels including linear TV, CTV, radio, streaming audio, OOH, search, social, display, affiliates, CRM and influencers
Extensive written and verbal communication skills, ability to listen effectively, constructively challenge and be forward thinking to build agreement and alignment across teams
Be tenacious, be pro-active and solution focused, believe in the art of the possible and be able to follow through with attention to detail
Be a change maker, able to influence & energize people and build collaborative relationships
Must be a collaborative communicator as a thought partner for senior management and partners.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Able and willing to work non-traditional hours including evenings, weekends & holidays
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time to all domestic U.S. Soccer controlled matches Desired Qualifications
Passion for soccer and a deep understanding of the U.S. sports and cultural landscape is a strong plus
