This position requires coverage of three hotels, two of which are “big box” Hilton brand properties in New Orleans and Atlanta, and thus large contributors to the Hilton portfolio in the Americas. The third is an Embassy Suites in a lovely location in the Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES & POSITION PURPOSE

In this role, you will support the Cluster Director of Marketing in all Marketing Strategy, Planning & Execution for the threehotel cluster.
Assist in the development, management, execution and measurement of all aspects of the marketing/branding strategies under the leadership of the Cluster Director of Marketing; including, but not limited to Ecommerce, Digital Audits/Merchandising, Social Media, Paid Digital & Traditional Advertising, Video/Photography Shoots & Content Management, etc.
All efforts should be focused on maximizing commercial performance.
Success measures include: budget achievement, increasing topline revenue, optimizing expenses and achieving channel/market share objectives. The keys to success in this role are as follows:
Build a close alignment with onproperty, regional, and brand marketing teams.
Highly adaptable to seasonality and conflicting priorities.
Successfully execute the tactical elements of the annual marketing plan.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects at once.
Has a passion for learning and staying on the cutting edge of new digital strategies, trends and technologies.

KEY DUTIES
Project Management:

Plans and manages the development of creative collateral (In coordination with an agency where applicable) and ensures timely media placement and coordination of production/materials deadlines with expense management in mind.

Digital Merchandising & Ecommerce:

Works to regularly audit and ensure accuracy of content and assets (including but not limited to: Owned and ThirdParty Websites, Digital & Traditional Advertising, Photography and Videography) and that each aligns with the hotel’s branding and positioning strategy by guest segment.

Experiential Marketing:

Works alongside Operations to ideate and promote curated onproperty experiences and activations (ex: “Holiday Suite”)

B Sales & Catering Marketing Support:

Collaborates with sales leaders to provide marketing support to all salesimpacted market segments – candidate should possess Canva creative skills

Monthly Reporting:

Under the guidance of the Cluster Director of Marketing, owns & prepares monthly marketing activity reports

Public Relations and Social Media Management:

Supports in the development and execution of PR & social media strategies including influencer and media publication relations

Branding & Positioning Assistance:

Assists with the hotel positioning and content / messaging strategy based on the hotel’s business & customer mix, along with Brand pillar integration

Ancillary Outlet Support:

Develops revenuefocused local marketing promotions and aids in creative ideation of outlet activations for the operations team to execute

External Agency Management:

serves as primary liaison with external agencies (example: digital, PR, creative) by delivering strategic creative briefs and ensuring timely deliverables

Partnership Management:

plans and execute projects with local partnership activations and sponsorships that align with the hotel’s positioning

SUPPORTIVE SERVICES

Participates where appropriate in trade/business related functions, events, conferences and workshops
Performs special projects and other responsibilities as assigned and participates in task forces, committees and cluster groups as requested
Assists the Cluster Director of Marketing in preparing adhoc presentations, including hotel executive committee meetings, ownership reviews and corporate hotel reviews; at times, this role may be required to present in these commercial meetings

BUSINESS ACUMEN

Extensive knowledge of marketing communication mediums including traditional, digital, and social channels
Proficiency in data analysis and translating insights into compelling narratives

Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in marketing and/or public relations preferred
3+ years of combined marketing, advertising, and/or ecommerce marketing experience
Prior hotel/travel industry experience is preferred, but not required
