Chief Operating Officer Overview We’re seeking a bold, commercially-minded Head of Brands to lead brand and product positioning across Grand Circle Travel, Overseas Adventure Travel, and Grand Circle Cruise Line. This role is ideal for a leader who wants true ownership — someone who will lead with data, shape strategy, and drive execution across marketing, product, and pricing. You will be responsible for owning the brand calendar, partnering with Finance on discount strategy, and co-owning testing roadmaps across web and email alongside the Digital Experience, Creative, and Analytics teams. This role influences brand clarity, marketing performance, and customer growth across multiple businesses and product lines. You’ll guide a committed team of brand managers and analysts, build a new product marketing function, and help modernize how we engage and grow travelers. You’ll also be a core contributor to our marketing evolution, including Adobe V8, new CMS integration, and full-funnel testing and personalization. Key Responsibilities Strategic Ownership Lead brand strategy across all product categories: land, river, and ship Own the enterprise brand marketing calendar and drive seasonal and annual planning Partner with Finance to shape discount strategy and evaluate margin tradeoffs Develop and lead customer segmentation strategy to align brand actions with behavioral triggers and conversion intent Execution Leadership Oversee campaign execution across email, print, digital, and 3rd party media Build and lead a Product Marketing team to own product messaging and campaign brief development Translate competitive positioning and brand value into high-impact creative and actions Collaborate with Digital, Creative, and Analytics teams to test, refine, and scale brand performance Modernization & Innovation Contribute to our marketing transformation, including new CMS, Adobe Experience Manager V8, and omnichannel testing roadmap Ensure integration of data insights and performance feedback into future campaign development Qualifications 10-15 years of experience in brand, product marketing, or commercial marketing roles Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence discount, pricing, and messaging strategy Deep experience in customer segmentation, behavioral targeting, and message personalization Strong multi-channel experience: print, email, digital, 3rd party, and paid media Experience building or leading a product marketing function Background in travel, lifestyle, luxury, or high-consideration purchase environments preferred Why Join Us For over 65 years, Grand Circle has been changing people’s lives through travel.
