Job Description General Summary:

The Marketing Operations Process & Analytics Senior Manager is responsible for managing the coordination, design, and delivery of commercial excellence initiatives that enhance Marketing Operations. Activities will support internal stakeholder engagement and data-driven decision making for North America. This role will be responsible for overseeing process improvement activities associated with the CRC (Communications Review Committee) and ensuring the appropriate use of its corresponding system. Furthermore, this role will have varied responsibilities to support the commercial team including developing and supporting the implementation of new Marketing Operations processes.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Contributes to the development of all the CRC processes and procedures in collaboration with Regulatory team and monitors implementation Produces analytics to measure Key Performance Indicators and CRC Performance Works with Medical Affairs, Compliance, Marketing, Market Access, and Corporate Affairs to develop and provide oversight to the CRC processes and help influence consistency across the North America Business Units Leads Continuous improvement initiatives for employees and external vendors/partners on the Matrix (VeevaVault Promomats) system and processes to enable Vertex to successfully and efficiently support product promotion and communication activities Designs and delivers the training on CRC processes and system, including onboarding of new employees and agencies/vendors to the SOP and software systems, along with tracking training compliance and licensing Monitors processes including brand promotional activity, CRC efficiency and improves Vertex’s documentation practices; captures outputs of key internal meetings and shares with the internal stakeholders as needed May represent the North American GIACO organization on DTE integration/enhancement initiatives, provides consolidated inputs based on business requirements, identifies gaps and ensures technology is fit for purpose and prepared for future needs Coordinates resources and sets priorities to meet operational objectives

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience working in Veeva PromoMats or equivalent electronic content review system Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills Ability to develop project plans and deliver desired outcomes Demonstrated experience in Vendor/AOR management, project management, managing CRC processes, and Content Development and implementation Proactively identifies issues and solves them Knowledge of US pharmaceutical promotional guidelines (US Food and Drug Administration), regulatory issues relevant to advertising and promotions

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline Typically requires 5-7 years of professional work experience, with 2-3 years BioPharma Industry preferred.

Pay Range:

$118,400 – $177,600

The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Hybrid:

work remotely up to two days per week; or select 2.

On-Site:

work five days per week on-site with ad hoc flexibility.
