Job Description About the role:
JoinTakeda as the Senior Director of Consumer Marketing where you willbe a champion of Takeda’s culture and values while leading theoverall strategic direction and performance management for a newproduct launch. You will collaborate closely with cross-functionalteams and executive leadership to develop and execute strategiesthat ensure maximum success. You will report to the Vice President,U.S. Dermatology Franchise.
How you will contribute:
Lead andcreate consumer marketing capabilities for the dermatologyfranchise, which include leading launch strategy development,go-to-market strategy, and tactical planning for new productlaunch. Evaluate and identify patient market related to therapeuticarea and key needs for activating patient/physician discussionrelated to the brand and disease. Own the understanding of thepatient journey and develop patient-specific positioning statementfor the brand and the patient-centric message architecture andlanguage to convey brand place in the treatment class. Ensurealignment with overall brand strategy and healthcare professional(HCP) brand initiatives, and partner with the HCP brand lead toinform inclusion of patient perspective. Leverage insights toinform patient segmentation and channel preferences. Lead strategyand execution of direct to consumer (DTC) advertising for diseaseeducation, brand awareness, acquisition, and conversion initiativesthrough a variety of channels which may include customerrelationship management (CRM), direct marketing, in-office, print,search engine marketing (SEM), digital media, mobile, and broadcastTV. Lead media planning and external media agency. Partner withAnalytics & Insights to distill insights, validate businessopportunities, and optimize omni-channel marketing mix for patient,balancing investment and monitoring return on investment (ROI) ofindividual tactics. Identify critical elements forinitiatives/promotions designed to drive desired patient behaviorchange. Align plans with HCP strategy to ensure consistency andidentify efficiencies and need for communication to various fieldroles or external partners. Evaluate the effectiveness of campaignstrategies through campaign measurement and metrics development toensure a positive ROI and achieve brand objectives. Align directreport responsibilities to brand strategy development needs andorganizational structure. Guide development of staff members inmarketing expertise, organizational awareness and exposure, andcareer development Support Plan process with input on expectedimpact of patient programs on the P&L for brand/franchise
- including patient support programs, DTP and DTC efforts. Overseethe planning and execution of patient advisory boards aligned toneeds for insights and modification of strategy & supports and/orleads engagement with advocacy groups
- also fostering partnershipwith GEA activities related to those organizations.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Required :
Bachelor’s degree 12 years of commercial pharmaexperience, including significant consumer/DTC marketing experiencewith 5 years in leadership level positions with increasingresponsibilities. Deep understanding of patient journeys,communication channels, and tactic design. Extensive experience inmarketing strategy and tactic planning with an ability tocommunicate ideas to internal partners and external agencies.
Experience in leveraging data and analytics to distill insights anddrive data-based decision making. Consumer marketing experiencewith experience in media, including digital marketing, with theideal candidate having broadcast and media planning leadershipexperience. Demonstrated leadership traits with an ability tomentor team members, collaborate effectively, and positivelyinfluence decisions. Strategic Planning and Implementation

Base Salary Range:
$205,100.00
- $322,300.

The actual base salaryoffered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wagerequirements for the job location. U.S. based employees may beeligible for short-term and/or long-termincentives.
