Job Scope:

The StrategicMarketing Manager will conduct independent market research forGenScript’s strategic business lines under the guidance of VP ofstrategic marketing. The tasks include investigations on marketsegments, benchmark companies, clients’ current and potentialdemand, as well as prediction of technological advancement andbusiness model analysis. The candidate is expected to providevaluable advice towards long term strategic plan of business linesin the corporation.

Key Responsibilities:

To understand thebusiness capabilities in GenScript, as well as its businessstrategies; To investigate the market’s current status, futuredevelopment trend and the driving force behind it; To drawbenchmark companies’ map, understand its strategy, business modeland predict its future development roadmap; To dig clients’ demandand pain points, as well as to discover potential businessopportunities; To continuously follow the market intelligence ofbiotechnology field and its innovation; To familiarize with variousbusiness models in biotech industry; To be able to provide valuablebusiness strategy opinions to the executive management team andbusiness line managers; To formulate and optimize market researchworkflow and methodology; To coach or even lead other team membersof the department for job excellence; To complete other tasksrequested by the superior.

Qualifications:

Qualification:

MSc, PhDin molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, immunology, orrelated biological science fields. An MBA degree would be plus.

Work Experience:

MSc with at least 8 years of work experience, orPhD with at least 4 years of work experience in biotech industry.

Experience in Marketing/Antibody Engineering would be plus;

Other:

Self-motivated, excellent logic, great communication skills; Fluentin English. Being able to speak Mandarin will be a plus.
