This full-time position plays a critical role in driving census growth and increasing top-line revenue by executing strategic marketing, referral development, and business growth initiatives.

Position Summary:

The Marketing Director is responsible for achieving and exceeding occupancy and case mix targets through effective external marketing, face-to-face sales, referral generation, and community outreach. This position requires a motivated professional who excels at relationship building and business development in the skilled nursing and senior care industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Promote and support the mission, vision, and values of the facility and organization. Act as a member of the facility’s leadership team , contributing to census development strategies and cultural alignment. Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations , policies, and industry standards. Personally responsible for external face-to-face marketing , referral relationship building, and achieving sales quotas. Drive and support team performance to achieve occupancy and revenue goals . Accurately communicate the facility’s services and fee structures to potential residents and referral sources. Develop and implement monthly, quarterly, and annual strategic marketing plans in collaboration with the Executive Regional Business Development Director. Participate in weekly marketing meetings with the facility Administrator and Interdisciplinary Team. Maintain and regularly update a competitive market analysis including local senior care competitors and referral trends. Supervise and evaluate external business development efforts , ensuring effectiveness and accountability. Attend mandatory in-service trainings and ongoing education for professional development. Establish performance targets for the sales team (calls, follow-ups, outreach strategies, etc.). Take on additional duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum 1 year of nursing home/skilled nursing marketing experience required; 3 years preferred. At least 1 year of recent experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) is required. Proven ability to develop and maintain professional referral relationships and manage census goals.

Preferred Skills:

Strong written and verbal communication and public speaking skills. Leadership skills with the ability to train, coach, and motivate teams . High attention to detail, organizational skills, and a self-starter attitude. Compassionate and patient-centered approach when interacting with seniors and families. Knowledge of senior care regulations , marketing best practices, and competitive analysis . Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) . Ability to learn and utilize CRM platforms, including Yardi Lead Management software . Skilled in marketing strategy, planning, and analysis .

Schedule:

Full-time Monday to Friday 8-hour shifts
