American Plastics is a fast-growing, U.S•based company with a strong focus on action, innovation, and the development of our people and business. As one of the largest privately owned injection molded plastics manufacturers, we design and produce innovative organization products. We’ve tripled our business in the last two years and significantly expanded our production footprint across the country. This is a remote or hybrid position, with hybrid roles based out of our Sales & Marketing Office in Mooresville, NC. The Marketing Manager Contractor (3 months’ temporary position with a potential extension to 6 months) is a contract position for responsible for executing marketing strategies developed by the Director of Marketing. This position will support the broader marketing team across a range of initiatives, including new product development (NPD) content creation, go-to-market (GTM) strategy, social media, and other marketing projects as needed. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and technical skills, along with the ability to quickly learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead marketing support for new product and category launches, contributing to launch strategy, timelines, and activation plans across key retail channels. Develop and refine customer-facing presentation decks for product pitches, line reviews, and internal strategy meetings, focusing on visual sell-in stories, packaging, and commercialization plans tailored to each retailer. Review digital content best-practice at a retailer level. Review and clean up Bynder content library to ensure brand consistency and accessibility. Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors to ensure the timely and high-quality execution of marketing deliverables. Develop a corporate communication template for social media ie. LinkedIn. Build out influencer program and awareness strategy. Utilize creative design software to produce high-quality visual renderings and marketing assets. Oversee the successful rollout and ongoing management of a new content syndication platform. Perform additional duties including ad hoc tasks as required to support the success of the marketing team and broader organization.

Education•bachelor’s degree in marketing/advertising/communications 7-10+ years of marketing experience, preferably in marketing/communications/advertising/brand management/content development in a large, fast paced matrixed environment. Strong understanding of brand positioning, brand voice, and content’s role in shaping the brand experience in a CPG space. National and Private brand management experience is a plus. Creative team player and problem solver with a can-do attitude who can manage multiple projects with ease. Strong storytellers with the ability to effectively communicate, both orally and written, and collaborate with people of all management levels. Exceptional project management and time management skills. Self-starter who can independently identify areas of opportunities. Adept in Microsoft Office with proficiency in PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suites.
