About this role: Wells Fargo’s Global Payments & Liquidity (GPL) team is an integrated, forward-looking product organization with end-to-end payments, data, liquidity and associated lending solutions that enable our clients to achieve their business objectives in an evolving digital world. As our GPL team moves forward with our Payments transformation, we are building out a marketing function and operating model to drive incremental sales growth. This role will lead our own website development, work with Consumer Bank (CB) and Consumer Investment Bank (CIB) digital teams, and lead paid media strategy to distribute our content and supports sales goals. They will play a critical role to traffic content across media outlets and internal channels according to an integrated marketing and communications strategic plan.
In this role you will… Design and manage marketing content on GPL website through launch and monitoring, including, stakeholder communications, Legal and Compliance approval management and documentation, creative collaboration, and in-market trackingExecute website content strategy and manage development and execution of written content to support customer needsParticipate in the development of and execute marketing campaign control processes and procedures that identify and address riskContribute to marketing, creative, or product management and provide consultation in one or more areas critical to E-business success such as marketing programs, new products, or product enhancementsProvides strategic oversight and guidance across GPL media activities, paid and earned, partners across key lines of business to coordinate media efforts and regularly interfaces with leadership across GPL, Corp Comms and lines of businessOwns the development of and manages paid media strategies for GPL and manages the allocation of Paid Media budget for Marketing and Communications team, including the planning, optimization, and strategy development across all media to drive KPIs necessary to optimize media budget investment decisions delivering on annual goals Responsible for distributing GPL marketing, content, and communications to our target audiences through advanced digital strategies and media including hyper targeted and programmatic tactics as well as broader endemic outlets so that we reach our key decision makers and stakeholders through an efficient use of media dollars Analyze weekly performance across all media, make strategic decisions to continue to optimize each campaign and manage our media partners to implement changes as needed and present those updates to leadership.
This role will also lead the development of a GPL Website to house critical content for our clients, prospects, stakeholders, and employees including our thought leadership white pages, articles, industry viewpoints, podcasts, Treasury Takeaways video series, sponsorships/events content, and marketing messagesPartner closely with CB and CIB digital teams to enable seamless orchestration of content to target audiences including clients.
Leverage a test-and-learn approach to marketing effortsEnable measurement & analysis of marketing performanceRequire Qualifications7+ years of Marketing, Digital Marketing, Digital Platforms (i.e. Mobile or Social Media) experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired QualificationsAdvanced level of skills in content strategy and digital marketing distribution Experience leading Business to Business digital content within a regulated environmentFinancial services, Payments and Treasury experience preferred, global business experience a plusProject management skills: strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills to drive marketing executions through multiple stage gates to launch.
