- Strategic Marketing Partnership
- Serve as the dedicated marketing partner for assigned Business Lines.
- Develop and execute marketing plans that align with business line goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with business leaders to ensure marketing activities support growth, awareness, and customer engagement.
- Campaigns Merchandising
- Lead the development of targeted marketing campaigns, promotions, and customer communications.
- Own the bank’s merchandising strategy, including the creation and management of in-branch materials such as posters, brochures, signage, and statement inserts.
- Ensure brand consistency across all physical and digital materials.
- Content Development Editorial Planning
- Create and manage a collaborative editorial calendar in coordination with the Digital Marketing Manager.
- Support the Digital Marketing Manager in developing compelling content for multiple channels including the website, social media, and email.
- Support internal communications initiatives in collaboration with leadership teams.
- Write, edit, and proofread content with a strong attention to tone, clarity, and compliance.
- Media Support
- Support website content updates and social media content planning.
- Write and distribute press releases, media alerts, and coordinate media inquiries as needed.
- Assist with basic video editing, photography, and visual content creation to enhance digital and print materials.
- Enthusiastically support the Bank’s Guiding Principles and Brand Behaviors.
- Adhere to regulatory requirements, such as Anti-Money Laundering and Bank Secrecy Act.
- Comprehend and adhere to federal banking regulations in accordance with Bar Harbor Bank Trust’s policies and procedures. Responsibilities (Marginal):

Required Education Experience:
- Minimum of a high school degree or the equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field—financial services experience preferred.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills across a variety of formats.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop); HTML knowledge preferred.
- Experience in developing marketing materials and managing content calendars.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with video editing tools and photography is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field preferred.
