Position Purpose:

The Associate Brand Manager (Lindor)will help manage and grow the Lindor brand within Lindt. Thisposition will be responsible for developing brand-building plansand executing projects and initiatives for Lindor, which supportboth the short and long-term marketing strategy. The AssociateBrand Manager will collaborate cross-functionally (locally and withinternational colleagues) to create brand relevancy with consumers,drive profitable growth and, develop and execute activities thatbuild and support the brand equity. This person will also supportin managing vendor and agency partners and all aspects of theirprojects. This is a hybrid role that requires three days per weekin our Boston (MA) or Stratham, NH offices.

Essential Job Functions& Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy Develop, present, andexecute consumer-relevant, annual marketing plans for assignedbrand with clear measures for success that contribute to sales,profit and brand health objectives. Leverage working knowledge ofconsumer, category and brand and continually identify, develop, andexecute business-building initiatives which deliver against theglobal brand strategy, and the company’s business and marketingobjectives. Thoroughly understand Lindt brand equity and respectivesub-brand equities. Develop brand plans and initiatives, such astraditional media, digital support, promotions, packaging andcreative, which fully align and strengthen Product/PortfolioManagement Responsible for managing an assigned portfolio toinclude SKU rationalization, mix strategies and profitoptimization. Responsible for heavily influencing portfolioP&L. Evaluate product portfolio and the marketplace and makerecommendations for new product launches and product improvementsto ensure Lindt & Sprüngli’s growth and brand equity in themarketplace. Drive the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processfor assigned brand(s); Secure and engage cross functional supportto meet required deliverables in a timely manner. Analyze marketpotentials on an ongoing basis for existing and new products anddevelop competitive concepts to ensure the long-term, profitablegrowth of Lindt USA. Analyze viability and profit/sales potentialfor new segments, markets, and consumers. Develop and implementstrategies and plans to maximize the profitability of assignedproducts / product categories while maintaining the high-qualitystandard. Critical Thinking/Research Analysis Conduct routineanalysis of the brand, key initiative, competition, category,customer and consumer. Synthesize key findings and indicationswhich enhance brand and company performance on a monthly, quarterlyand annual basis. Lead and assist with insight gathering researchthat collects consumer and competitive knowledge that can beutilized to enhance and evolve the brand’s recipe development,promotional acceptance and communication evolution, among others.

Thoroughly understand internal brand metrics, such as sales andprofit, and actively contribute to sales projections and financialplanning to drive the brand. Garner channel specific insights andbecome to go-to person for applicable customers by leading monthlykey account meetings. Cross Functional Support Execute marketingcommunication plans via advertising and consumer promotions,including social media, PR, and consumer activations. Communicateregularly with the Field Sales Force, and Customer Marketing toensure that marketing programs are properly implemented.

Proactively communicate and collaborate with Field Sales to ensuremeaningful integration and alignment in meeting the needs of thecustomer and marketplace. Attend sales calls and participate inselling at the customer level. Work with Research and Developmentto develop new products.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree required MBA preferred
