Description:

In the role Brand Manager, Oncology Marketingposition, you will work on a growing dynamic team. You will beresponsible for developing brand strategies, executing tacticsagainst those strategies for all customers internally andexternally. The ideal candidate will have marketing experience, aproven track record of successful pharmaceutical marketing and ageneralist background anchored in HCP promotion. This is a USin-line role that reports directly to the Head of Marketing inOncology. The Brand Manager is responsible for the development andimplementation of promotional programs designed to support brandstrategy and execution of an oncology product within a highlycompetitive oncology market. This critical role requires astrategic, driven individual with strong marketing competency andthe ability to thrive in an evolving organization. Integration andcollaboration within the brand and broader matrix teams isrequisite for successful delivery of the brand objectives.

GeneralResponsibilities:

Lead Congress Planning – including creation ofall promotional congress materials, coordination of meetinglogistics, communications and post meeting follow up Leaddevelopment and execution of the Promotional Speaker Program,including speaker training, materials development, communicationsand follow up Create and manage all aspects of brand website andupdates, from design to implementation, ensuring alignment withbrand strategy. Contribute to the development of marketingpromotional materials aligned with brand strategy along withmanaging any sampling program Lead or support internal submissionsand reviews (medical/regulatory/legal) Contribute to thedevelopment and implementation of POA Meetings Participate in allbrand planning and budget meetings and assist in development ofbrand planning deliverables Manage brand budget to ensure maximumROI for investments, and that annual budgets are not exceededManage, contracts, MSAs, SOWs and POs for all vendors Support andbuild collaborative relationships across functional lines (sales,market access, market research, sales operations, medical, finance,procurement) Oversee program success metrics, includingestablishing tracking criteria and KPIs. Share key learnings andbest practices within the organization Demonstrate an in-depthunderstanding of the market and competitive landscape and supportthe company in the identification of new market opportunities thatare in line with brand strategy Identify actionable brand insightsthat help shape brand strategy and direction Research trends,platforms, and experiences that can drive innovation andperformance Accountable for ensuring brand meets or exceeds annualrevenue and unit forecasts Regular overnight travel to conferences,field rides, market research and other routine business travelrequired.

Required Competencies and Experience:

Bachelor’s degreeand a minimum of 5 years pharmaceutical/biotech sales/marketingexperience or related experience. Brand Management experience Brandmarketing experience, including digital marketing Sales experiencedesired, not required Oncology experience is desired but notrequired MBA desired but not required Brand marketing, strategicthinking, project management and tactical execution, ability tomaster scientific data, analytical thinking, budget management, POAplanning. Launch experience a plus. Demonstrated ability to managemultiple projects simultaneously, set priorities and meet deadlinesAbility to work independently, with a sense of urgency and a strongattention to detail Ability to lead without authority acrossfunctional lines Strong financial acumen “Can do” and team orientedmindset lead by consistent and open communication Accountable,resourceful and acts with a sense of urgency Ability to leadthrough influence across functional lines Embrace change, adaptablewith a positive, growth mindset Exceptional oral and writtencommunication skills. Well versed in Microsoft Office applications(PowerPoint, Excel etc.), preferred experience with Adobe Suite,including AEM, AA and Marketo, as well as new AI/ChatGPT tools.
