Social media specialists should have a solid understanding of how each social media channel works and how to optimize content so that it is engaging on those channels. They are responsible for creating a strategy for the social media posts, Facebook and Instagram ads, Graphic Design, as well as answering any and all relevant conversations on behalf of Skin Deep Salon and Spa. Responsibilities Build and execute a social media strategy with fresh and new ideas to capture new followers and gain likes on Facebook, Instagram and Instagram Stories (where applicable) Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video) Keep company pages within each platform up to date with current content Moderate all user-generated content on all social platforms Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information Take weekly photos at Skin Deep Salon and Spa to use as content on social platforms At least 24 hours in house to take pictures and videos of clients, staff & products Graphic Design Requirements Proven working experience in social media marketing Excellent writing, editing (photo/video/text) skills Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major social channels Must feel comfortable getting content for posting on
