D2 Media Consultants, Inc., an Albany NY-based marketing, public relations, and strategic consulting firm, is seeking qualified candidates for an immediate 20 hours a week to start position. The position will allow the candidate to engage in the many facets of digital marketing, as well as public relations and strategic planning, and would include direct contact with clients. D2 Media is seeking candidates that have a deep desire to learn, and the ability to craft ideas that will ultimately benefit its clients. Hours would be flexible, and the candidate works remotely. Social media experience and strong writing ability are especially desirable. Responsibilities Market Research & Analysis:

Conduct market research to understand target audience needs, pain points, and market trends. Perform competitive analysis to assess product positioning and identify differentiation opportunities. Gather and synthesize customer feedback to inform product strategies and messaging.

Product Positioning & Messaging:

Define the product’s value proposition, positioning, and key messaging that resonates with target audiences. Create compelling content and marketing collateral (e.g., website copy, sales decks, datasheets, case studies) to support sales and marketing efforts. Ensure consistent messaging across all marketing channels. Go-to-Market (GTM)

Strategy & Execution:

Develop and execute comprehensive GTM strategies for new product launches and updates. Plan and manage product launch activities, coordinating with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, sales, marketing).

Performance Tracking & Optimization:

Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and optimize marketing strategies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with product managers to understand product features and roadmaps. Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer success teams to ensure alignment on product positioning and messaging. Partner with product development to incorporate customer insights into product improvements.

Skills, Experience and Attributes:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a digital marketing or advertising position. Strategic thinker who can balance planning and execution requirements. Expert-level knowledge of digital marketing platforms, best practices, and website analytics. Proven track record of successfully creating and managing digital campaigns- Experience with email platforms. Analytical thinker able to generate reports on the performance of online marketing activities and make recommendations based on those results, Excellent understanding of digital marketing KPIs. Strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and problem solve. Work on multiple projects in a fast paced, deadline driven environment. Highly creative with excellent analytical abilities. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Has a passion for latest trends and technologies in digital marketing.
