Job Summary:
The Director of Marketing Finance will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategy and execution of our marketing plan which is critical to driving the company’s transformation. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong analytical background who can bridge the gap between finance and marketing. The successful candidate will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for marketing campaigns while ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to maximize ROI.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage the global marketing budget for PayPal, Venmo, B2B, our Crypto business ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
Conduct financial analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Collaborate with marketing, measurement, analytics and business operations teams to provide financial insights that drive strategic decision-making.
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to marketing spend and performance.
Lead financial forecasting and planning processes for all marketing investments
Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements within marketing operations.
Build ad-hoc financial models, business cases, and analysis
Present financial reports and insights to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
10+ years of experience in finance, preferably within a marketing or advertising environment with 9-figure marketing budgets.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools. About the
