Job Description

DescriptionZappos, an Amazon subsidiary, is looking for a Sr. Digital Marketing Manager to support our Head of Digital Marketing in leading full funnel marketing across paid media channels. This consists of channel expertise and execution of Paid Social, Affiliates, Paid Search, Shopping, Display, and SEO channels including day-to-day tactical execution of best practices with creative, site merchandising, and editorial teams. Teamwork, time management, strong communication skills, and attention to detail are crucial for success in this role. Key job responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day workflow of paid channels
  • Relationship building with agency partners, publishers, and broader teams
  • Oversee channel execution, ensuring strategies are effective and properly measured
  • Build testing roadmap, leveraging data to provide insights into future learnings and results
  • Act as day-to-day intermediary for problem solving and leadership
  • Make effective decisions driving business goals, sharing out the success of these actions in weekly and monthly business reviews
  • Lead the weekly business reviews for paid media channels, compiling data points and insights to share with CMO
  • Support the Head of Digital Marketing in building out ad hoc strategy docs, as well as monthly business reviews and quarterly business reviews
  • Streamline reporting received from agencies and internal sources to communicate broader picture of performance
  • Responsible for channel budget, and shifting spend across channels to hit business goals
  • Work closely with Google, building out a joint business plan and recapping success
  • Test new mid and upper funnel opportunities, providing insights into success via primary and secondary data sources
  • Partner with cross channel teams to support initiatives with paid media amplification, building out a 360 marketing plan
  • Compile and communicate relevant industry news & reports to the team Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelors from a four-year college or equivalent
  • 7-9 years of performance marketing experience with a performance-focused agency or relevant brand
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including mid-level Excel skills
  • Strong communicator with excellent verbal and written presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal, partnership, and management skills
  • Excellent project management capabilities including multi-tasking, prioritization and organization skillsPreferred Qualifications
  • Analytical skills, with the ability to build reports and summarize data in an actionable way to drive business goals forward

The base pay for this position ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
