Full Job Description Job Summary:
The Marketing Manager is responsible for leading firm-wide marketing and communications initiatives across industry groups, geographic markets, and strategic offerings. This role includes the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, management of digital marketing efforts, and oversight of analytics to assess performance. The Marketing Manager is a strategic leader and hands-on contributor, working closely with business development teams to support growth and visibility efforts across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead marketing campaigns for priority industry groups, practice areas, and markets in collaboration with business development teams. Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and paid advertising. Monitor, report, and analyze performance of digital content, social media, and marketing campaigns using tools such as Power BI. Optimize website content for SEO and user experience; manage updates and oversee website refresh projects. Draft and distribute legal advisories and communications through CRM platforms. Create marketing collateral, advertising content, and recruiting materials; oversee visual design and copy. Manage paid digital campaigns including LinkedIn Ads and Google Ads. Maintain and post select content on social media platforms. Draft and publish new attorney bios to the firm’s website. Contribute to the firm’s awards program by writing entries and managing submissions. Liaise with external marketing and communications vendors on project execution. Present marketing strategies and campaign performance to leadership. Stay current with marketing trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in marketing, digital marketing, or communications. Proven experience developing and executing integrated marketing plans. Prior experience reporting and analyzing marketing metrics; Power BI experience preferred. Experience with digital content creation, social media, and CRM/email distribution platforms. Previous experience in a law firm or agency setting strongly preferred.
Special Requirements:
Ability to travel between regional office locations as needed. Must be able to manage confidential or sensitive information with discretion.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong content development and business writing skills. Proficiency in social media management, especially LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook. Experience with SEO, paid digital advertising, Google Ads, and email marketing tools. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with legal professionals. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines. Confident presentation skills and ability to influence stakeholders. A proactive, solutions-oriented approach to problem solving.
Additional Desired Characteristics:
Experience working with external vendors or agencies. Familiarity with CRM systems and legal advisory distribution workflows. Ability to lead projects independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment. Comfort in a fast-paced, multi-tasking setting with shifting priorities.
Work Environment:
Hybrid work model; role is based in a regional office with partial remote flexibility. Requires occasional travel to other office locations for meetings or events. Standard business hours with occasional extended hours to meet deadlines.
