Senior Director of Strategic Marketing & Brand Management Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Senior Director of Strategic Marketing & Brand Management to drive comprehensive marketing strategies to achieve the organization’s objectives for organic sales growth, new customer acquisition, and client retention. This role requires a deep understanding of marketing, strategic thinking, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of success.
Responsibilities:
Marketing Plan Development:
Own the development and evolution of the overall marketing plan (communication plan, channel strategy/mix, campaign elements, and tactical plan) with clear strategies and tactics to drive the business forward with measurable outcomes.
Customer Understanding:
Create marketing campaigns that demonstrate a deep understanding of the customer and effectively communicate the value propositions associated with being a Maverick client throughout the entire customer journey.
Marketing Execution:
Execute all marketing tactics to support the strategic marketing plan, using an integrated marketing approach across digital, social media, content, SEO, and traditional marketing methods.
New Customer & Organic Growth:
Plan and design creative and effective multi-channel communication campaigns (traditional and digital) that address all levels of the sales funnel to accelerate current customer engagement and develop high-quality leads and pipeline growth.
Sales Team Collaboration:
Work closely with Sales Leadership to understand the needs of the sales team and develop the necessary messaging and materials, including sales collateral, presentations, and training materials, to equip them with the tools required for successful outcomes.
Results Tracking and Reporting:
Responsible for the marketing budget and results reporting to stakeholders, including ROI calculations, insights, and data-driven recommendations for improvement. Identify gaps and implement countermeasures to meet growth targets. Collaboration with
Content & Creative Team:
Work closely with the content & creative team, serving as the main point of contact, to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality marketing assets.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in marketing, communications, or a business-related field.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in marketing, sales, or a related commercial role, with 3+ years specifically in digital marketing.
- Ability to both create strategy and execute tactically, with a strong sense of urgency.
- Proven experience in marketing, with a strong focus on strategy, awareness, lead generation, and conversion.
- Ability to collaborate, gain alignment, and build consensus within marketing, cross-functional teams, and especially Sales.
- Strong analytical skills combined with a data-driven approach.
- Naturally curious, with a desire to understand the dental industry, our clients, their clinical needs, and our place in this space.
- Ability to simplify the complex and build a strong story.
Preferred Requirements:
- Master’s degree in business (MBA) strongly preferred.
- Experience in healthcare (medical, dental, vision) or similar industries (e.
g., medical device, pharmaceuticals) is a plus.
