As a Principal Platform Product Marketing Director, you leada cross-functional team of marketers for our B2B-focused marketsegment. Together, this team is accountable for using market andcustomer research to shape how we position our solutions in themarketplace and lead the development and implementation of theintegrated GTM plan for our Platform offering. The PrincipalProduct Marketing Director for the platform will have theopportunity to lead highly effective B2B acquisition and growthstrategies for Skillsoft. You will have access to market, customer,and product inputs and develop go-to-market plans thatsignificantly impact our market share. In this role you willdevelop and lead the implantation of the integrated launch andMarketing plan, including the development of the value proposition,awareness generation, sales enablement, etc. ResponsibilitiesDeliver compelling product positioning messaging to our targetaudience across multiple channels, differentiating our productsfrom the competition
Market Differentiation:
Collaborate withProduct Management, Sales Leaders, Customer Success, and otherstakeholders to refine our industry narrative and the depth ofcapabilities, solutions, and partnerships
Go-to-Market Strategy:
Drive the development and execution of a strategic marketing planand tactics focused on the enterprise Platform buyer, a high-growthsegment, including the launch of strategic new solutions
Price andPackaging Modeling:
Influence packaging and pricing strategies forour products In this role, youll have the tools and resources tounderstand our products and use cases, and be responsible forincreased new business and high customer retention rates you’llinfluence strategy and KPI targets

Skills & Qualification Requirements Ability to thinkstrategically about product differentiation, pricing models, andcompetitive pressures Highly motivated about identifying andbuilding profitable market driven business opportunities to helpdrive revenue Qualification Requirements Typically requires aminimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree;or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years’experience; or equivalent experience 10 years of experiencesuccessfully implementing global B2B SaaS solution marketing plansacross direct sales channels for SaaS products with bachelor’sdegree in marketing or related business discipline Experience in amulti-BU company model Expertise in synthesizing customer, product,and marketing data to make recommendations Strong interpersonalskills with ability to effectively present and sell informationboth internally and externally Experience collaborating and drivingresults within a matrixed international marketing organization andcomfortable delivering in a lean, cross-functional team withambiguity Polished communication and executive presentationexperience delivering confident, concise briefings to sales andproduct leadership Ability to travel up to 20-25% DesiredRequirements MBA and / or Product Marketing CertificationsIntegrated Marketing expertise, have globally launched productsTarget base salary range for this job requisition is anticipated tobe approximately $158,700 – $225,000 annualized. We also offerEnterprise benefits including but not limited to: medical, dental,vision, and paid time off The company may modify salaries, salaryranges and/or Pay Plans from time to time as it deems necessary.
