Summary & Objectives:
MKS Instruments is seeking an exceptional Product Marketing Manager to join the team.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Provide well developed marketing plans to Sales, price development and maintenance, any product data, sales aids, competitive information and technical sales training, etc., that they may need to maximize sales effectiveness and achieve their sales forecast and objectives
- Work closely with Business Manager, establish selling prices, which will be competitive as well as in line with the divisional profitability standards and review, counsel and advise on pricing policies practices by all division and review and monitor pricing to assure conformity with corporate policy.
- Introduce new products, establish marketing plans, and establish list pricing and base inventory levels
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of product group offering
- Assist local business management in developing annual budgets for product group
Required Skills:
- Undergraduate degree (preferably in Science, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering)
- 5+ years of related experience (with degree), 10+ years if no degree
Physical Demands & Working Conditions:
- Extended screen time
- Sitting for long periods
- Presentation delivery (Standing and speaking for extended periods)
- Operates in an office, laboratory, manufacturing environment
- Dedication to safety to mitigate hazards, including handling mechanical and electrical hardware, high voltage, gas, water, and heat
