Job Summary The Director of Amazon, Consumer Skincare will be directly responsible for overseeing and driving growth on the Amazon platform in partnership with our strategic partner, Global Overview, across all consumer skincare brands. This role will work closely with brand marketing and brand media, and support and execute the strategies, programs, product launches and digital marketing initiatives on Amazon. Additionally, the Director will manage daily operations, provide support, and execute activities necessary to sustain growth and achieve sales targets and related key performance indicators (KPIs).
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Amazon business including development of short and long-term business plans, as well as day-to-day operations management delivering top line sales, operating metrics, and key topline and bottom-line performance and identify opportunities to build business and achieve Amazon sales and Crown brand goals. Support and manage the Amazon P&L for all Crown brands as part of the overall Ecommerce P&L. Deliver financial, volume and marketplace share objectives. Collaborate with CSO, brand marketing and global overview on the development of strategic multi-year channel specific growth strategies. Oversee partnership with Amazon Strategic Account Services (SAS) contact to ensure full alignment on yearly Crown brand strategy, sales goals, and merchandising plan execution. Work in tandem with Brand Media and Amazon agency to ensure growth with profitable returns and test strategies and roll out successful initiatives. Analyze business KPIs and strategy is being executed and optimized. Strategize promotional planning calendars and new initiatives to maximize sales, focused on brand awareness and maximizing sell in and sell through while maintaining brand business goals and objectives. Manage day-to-day operations including purchase orders, RTVs, EDI monitoring, support tickets (Vendor Central), shortage claims and charge backs. Ensure that new product comps and content, including assets, videos, and product copy, are tracked and provided by the due date. Create a completed plan to launch, display, support and promote new products and hero products. Maintain product launches and promotional calendars minimalizing channel conflict in programming. Coordinate Operations to ensure the timely and accurate fulfillment of product orders, samples and incremental product needs are met. Actively monitor and identify new Amazon program opportunities through competitive and market research and prioritize revenue impacting opportunities. Keep current with short and long-term market trends and adjust merchandising and support plans accordingly. Collaborate with Activation team and Digital Shelf Content Manager to optimize PDP and brand store content (including copy, videos, PDP carousel images, Posts and A+ Content) for search, discovery and conversion. Monitor SKU performance across Crown brands on an ongoing basis to meet financial and strategic goals. Drive online results by managing assortment, merchandising, promotion, and digital shelf. Evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and react accordingly to increase sales conversion. Provide weekly and monthly sales reports by country/brand and explain key business drivers and identify opportunities to meet plans and maximize market share. Manage a team of 1-2 direct reports
