This role is responsible for developing clear, compelling content that elevates the organization’s mission, engages key audiences, and supports campaigns and initiatives. From managing a multi-channel content calendar to crafting engaging social media posts, donor materials, email campaigns, and website copy, this position ensures that all content reflects UWGK’s brand voice and strategic goals. The ideal candidate is a skilled writer, thoughtful collaborator, and proactive project manager who brings creativity, organization, and insight to every stage of the content process. What You’ll Do As the Content Marketing Manager, you’ll: Content Creation & Strategy Write, edit, and proofread content for various formats, including web pages, social media posts, emails, brochures, reports, flyers, and signage. Ensure all content is accurate, on-brand, and tailored for the intended audience—donors, partners, or community members. Collaborate across departments to source information, develop stories, and shape messaging for campaigns and initiatives. Maintain and manage a content calendar, ensuring timely production of digital and print deliverables. Apply SEO and digital best practices to improve visibility and engagement. Provide direction on visual content and design assets when needed. Project Management Lead content development projects from kickoff through delivery—establishing timelines, tracking progress, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. Manage production workflows and approval processes for content across multiple platforms, ensuring efficient production and final deliverables stay on track. Prioritize requests and keep communication clear and organized across teams and timelines. Digital Engagement & Performance Manage day-to-day content for social media platforms, including scheduling, publishing, and community interaction. Monitor and respond to online engagement in alignment with UWGK’s tone and messaging. Support executive leadership with social media content and visibility when needed. Write copy and guide layout for email campaigns, newsletters, and audience-specific updates. Track content performance across channels and use data analytics to adjust strategy and messaging to grow engagement and followers. Create toolkits and promotional materials to support events and initiatives, both in-person and virtual. What You Bring We’re looking for someone who is: Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills across formats (web, print, social, email), with a clear and engaging style. Ability to tailor messaging to specific platforms and audiences, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with UWGK’s mission using UWGK’s tone and messaging. Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines, track progress, and keep content production on schedule. Confidence in working independently and collaboratively, taking initiative while aligning with team goals. Familiarity with SEO best practices, content management systems (such as WordPress), email marketing tools, and social media platforms. Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to maintain quality and brand standards across all communications. Capacity to analyze content performance data and digital engagement metrics to inform decisions and improve future strategy. Comfort collaborating with designers, videographers, and other creatives—offering thoughtful direction and feedback on visuals and multimedia assets. A strategic mindset that can turn complex information into accessible, mission-driven stories and messages. Knowledge of regional communities and the ability to create cultural awareness and community-responsive content. Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset; ability to work effectively with internal teams, community partners, and external vendors. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint) and willing to learn new tools and technologies as needed.
