Director of Marketing Muletown Digital 200 Nicholas Long Drive, Columbia, TN 38401 Role Summary The Digital Marketing Director at Muletown Digital is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing and optimizing our business AND our clients’ digital marketing initiatives. This role involves comprehensive research and analysis of client industries, development and execution of content marketing strategies, and continuous monitoring and improvement of advertising campaigns (SEO/PPC). The director will manage digital marketing budgets, ensure up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, and maintain effective client communication. They will also lead technical SEO audits, link-building strategies, and deliver performance reports. The ideal candidate will drive ROI, enhance conversion rates, and increase organic traffic while fostering a high-performing SEO team and adapting to the ever-evolving digital landscape. Essential Responsibilities Detail your responsibilities (tasks) within the time frames below: The Big Ones Direct marketing for clients Direct marketing for MTD Includes SEO, PPC, Email Marketing, etc. Driving leads TO the Sales Team via Nurture Bring them into the funnel – drive them down the funnel to book a call

Daily:

Research and analyze client industries, competitors, and target audiences. Assist in the development of content marketing strategies, including blog posts, social media content, and email campaigns. Monitor and make recommendations on advertising campaigns (SEO/PPC). Review and analyze website analytics to identify opportunities for improvement. Create and manage digital marketing budgets. Stay up-to-date with industry news and algorithm updates. Assist in communication with clients to provide updates on campaign performance. Review keyword research and SEO audits. Collaborate with the SEO team, external partners, and creative and development teams for website optimization. Have oversight on client online reviews and reputation management. Delegate or conduct keyword research and analysis. Delegate or work to optimize on-page content for SEO. Monitor website performance and rankings. Track and analyze website traffic and user behavior. Collaborate with content writers for SEO-friendly content creation.

Weekly:

Review and adjust campaign strategies based on performance data. Present monthly reports to clients, highlighting key performance metrics. Conduct team meetings to align on client strategies and discuss challenges. Identify opportunities for cross-channel marketing synergy. Stay current with emerging digital marketing trends and technologies. Execute technical SEO audits. Develop and refine link-building strategies.

Monthly:

Conduct in-depth client reviews to assess long-term objectives and strategies. Perform (or request from Adam/Angie) comprehensive SEO audits and recommend improvements. Analyze and report on the impact of digital marketing efforts on client ROI. Create and deliver SEO performance reports to clients. Identify and address crawlability and indexing issues.

Quarterly:

Conduct competitive analysis and market research. Update and refine digital marketing strategies based on quarterly results. Collaborate with the sales team to identify potential clients and pitch strategies. Review and update SEO strategies based on performance data. Plan and execute website content audits and optimizations.

Annually:

Develop and present annual digital marketing plans for clients. Review and adjust the agency’s digital marketing service offerings based on industry trends. Develop a long-term SEO roadmap for clients. Evaluate the overall effectiveness of SEO strategies and make adjustments as needed.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have: 3-5 Years of experience in this line of work. Strong analytical and data-driven mindset. Expertise in digital marketing channels and tools. Excellent communication and client-facing skills. Creative thinking is needed to develop engaging content and strategies. Proficiency in SEO, SEM, and social media marketing. Project management skills for multitasking and meeting deadlines. Adaptability to evolving industry trends and algorithms. Results-oriented with a focus on driving ROI for clients. Strong knowledge of SEO best practices. Proficiency in SEO tools like Bright Local, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz. Technical SEO expertise. Time management skills for effective multitasking and meeting deadlines.

Job Type:
Full-time Pay:

$90,000.00 – $111,000.00 per year
