Job Summary:

The Segment Marketing Manager – Contractor Segment is responsible for proactively developing, leading, and implementing effective marketing strategies that target specific construction contractor segments to increase brand awareness, drive customer acquisition, and increase customer loyalty. This position requires a strong understanding of contractor behavior, home improvement industry and distribution channels. The Segment Marketing Manager will also be responsible for targeted digital advertising, CRM campaigns, merchandise and displays, and general sales enablement tools for our wholesale/direct sales team and contractor/installers. •

NOTE:

this role is 70% tactical execution and 30% strategic in nature. Responsibilities will include actual content/asset and digital campaign creation in combination with internal/external resources.

Essential Functions:

Develop, lead, and implement marketing strategies that target specific contractor segments to increase brand awareness, drive customer acquisition, and increase customer loyalty. Develop, lead, and implement contractor-based digital marketing campaigns positioning various brands supported by multiple distribution channels to deliver significant marketing qualified leads by managing segmented marketing campaigns, content, budgets, timelines, and success metrics. Create and manage sales and marketing tools, collateral, merchandising materials, and content to provide world class sales enablement and support for the wholesale and direct sales channel. Lead the ongoing development, implementation, and strategic roadmap for the contractor loyalty program and associated platform(s) including development of new content, training, assets, and reward incentive tiers. Oversee promotion and campaigns to drive usage and engagement for contractor loyalty program. Lead and execute the creation of digital and print marketing materials, pitch and line review decks, print and digital ads, email campaigns, and social media content in alignment with brand standards and legal content guidelines. Understand and monitor critical connections between website forms, CRM, campaign workflows, and integrations with associated platforms. Use analytics and reporting applications to track and measure the performance of marketing campaigns and assigned KPI’s and make adjustments as needed to ensure that they are effective. Conduct contractor/market research and stay up to date with market trends, customer preferences, buyer personas, and competitors’ strategies to inform marketing lead generation plans and enable data-driven decision making. Work closely with the wholesale and direct sales team to align marketing and sales project priorities. Collaborate with the product development team to ensure that marketing language, content, and product features are consistent with product specifications. Lead and/or assist Product Innovation Team with SKU extension go to market projects where appropriate. Assist with management of marketing budget for specific customer segments, including forecasting and tracking expenses. Quickly adapt to short-term shifts in business or customer priorities while not losing sight of long-term goals.

Required Experience:

7 – 10+ years of professional experience in B2B and/or B2B2C marketing with emphasis on digital marketing campaign execution and/or customer loyalty programs. 7 – 10+ years of experience shaping digital marketing strategies with a history of delivering highly successful user acquisition and engagement activations (marketing qualified lead creation). Proficiency with marketing automation software and proven experience building/managing outbound and inbound campaigns (HubSpot experience strongly preferred) Proficiency with WordPress, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and/or Canva Must have high degree of initiative and work well without direct supervision Must have excellent collaboration and communication skills and ability to lead others without direct authority Strong understanding of contractor/B2B behavior and market trends and developing corresponding marketing strategies and campaigns preferred. Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Demonstrated ability to use marketing analytics to measure campaign effectiveness and make data-driven decisions. Demonstrated strategic acumen to deliver relevant KPIs, insights, and recommendations to sales and marketing leadership and team members.

Required Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing or equivalent degree/experience required
