Full Job Description Overview:
Vallencourt Construction is seeking a creative and driven Media & Marketing Specialist to join our team. This individual will play a key role in capturing and telling the story of our work, people, and impact across Northeast Florida. You’ll be out in the field at active job sites, documenting work through photography and video, and then using that content to create compelling media for social media, internal training, marketing materials, and our website.
Key Responsibilities:
Travel to construction job sites to capture photos and videos of active projects Collaborate with field staff to safely and effectively document ongoing work Create engaging photo and video content for social media, career fairs, and internal use Manage and grow Vallencourt Construction’s social media presence across platforms Update and maintain company website content Develop marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, and digital ads Create training and safety videos for internal use Attend and represent the company at career fairs and industry events Complete OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (company provided) Collaborate with HR and Operations on internal communications initiatives
Requirements:
Experience with photography, video production, and editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) Strong understanding of social media platforms and content strategy Excellent written and verbal communication skills Comfortable working on active construction sites (PPE provided) Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects Valid driver’s license (company vehicle provided) Must complete OSHA safety training upon hire
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in construction, industrial, or field-based media work Website content management experience (e.g., WordPress or similar) Drone photography or FAA Part 107 certification (optional but a plus)
