This individual will assist us with content creation on a wide variety of web development and digital marketing campaigns for our SMB clients. We are looking for someone who can work cohesively with our existing team, excel as a self-starter, work productively with minimal supervision, show eagerness to adapt to our culture, processes, and clients’ needs, and has an exceptional eye for detail. The ideal candidate possesses very strong content editing and basic web development skills, which will be primarily used in the production of website and digital marketing content and other marketing copy as needed. Great verbal communication skills are also a must; we work with a variety of clients from all different industries across the United States, meaning communication is frequently required both internally and externally with clients and the team in our Tampa, Florida, and Idaho Falls, Idaho, offices. Experience with other aspects of digital marketing, website development, and design is a plus, but we are happy to provide training and resources to the right candidate. This is a full-time position based in our Tampa, Florida office.
Skills & Qualifications Required:
A Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or equivalent combination of education and experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong content editing skills, with the ability to deliver compelling, accurate, and error-free content Working knowledge of HTML and CSS Experience using various Content Management Systems (CMS) to manage websites Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively Adaptability to quickly learn and apply new technologies and digital marketing trends Collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teams, such as designers and social media managers, to ensure cohesive brand messaging
Job Responsibilities:
Perform content audits and create in-depth and extensive content plans for clients from a wide variety of industries Conceptualize and plan individual content pieces, create outlines, and assign to our team of content writers As needed, write original, highly optimized content that aligns with clients’ overall strategies Review and edit produced content, ensuring consistency in voice, accuracy of information, clarity in organization, and correct spelling and grammar Provide feedback to client managers and content writers for continuous improvement Manage communication with clients for content approval and ensure overall client satisfaction Organize, load, and style approved content using a CMS, ensuring a professional and polished presentation using the built-in styling controls provided by the CMS Utilize knowledge of HTML and CSS to uplift and customize the presentation of content as needed Generate copy for social media and paid campaigns using keyword research Manage clients’ Google business profiles, including reviews, updates, and more Assist our digital marketing team with other related tasks as needed
