Full Job Description Job Opening:
Petition Circulator – $20/hour We’re looking for outgoing, reliable individuals to join our team as Petition Circulators in Palm Beach County . In this role, you will be responsible for collecting signatures in support of a local initiative. You’ll receive paid training, including a brief onboarding process to get familiar with the issue, as well as the app used to log hours and track your progress. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys engaging with the public and wants to contribute to a meaningful cause. You’ll work in high-foot-traffic areas like farmers markets, shopping plazas, and college campuses.
Job Responsibilities:
Politely approach members of the public to explain the initiative and request their signature Clearly and accurately describe the petition’s purpose, using talking points provided during training Follow all legal requirements and ethical standards related to signature collection Log hours and signature data daily using a provided mobile app Meet performance expectations by collecting a reasonable number of valid signatures per shift Report any issues or questions to campaign staff promptly
Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older Must pass a criminal background check before onboarding Must be comfortable speaking with strangers in public areas Must have access to a smartphone for timekeeping and data entry Must be reliable and punctual— low performers may be removed from the program Ability to work independently in outdoor settings Bilingual a plus
