Position Summary:
The Quotes Specialist is a customer-centric professional who prioritizes rapid response, thoughtful conversation, and consultative solutioning to convert inbound quote requests into long-term customers. The ideal candidate will be able to balance sales responsiveness with strategic marketing alignment and data-driven decision-making and add value at every step of the quoting process on orders.
Key Responsibilities:
Reply to every day quote requests in a timely fashion to provide an enhanced customer experience. Deliver customer obsession through uncovering and foretelling customer needs, giving tailored solutions, and nurturing enduring relationships. Engage with leads by employing aligned, multichannel outreach—applying email, phone, and CRM capabilities to provide a centralized, tracked approach to communication. Collaborate in tandem with the Account Based Marketing (ABM) team so that quoting initiatives align with focused marketing campaigns for high-value accounts. Gather and review customer feedback to improve quoting effectiveness, conversion rates, and business strategy. Monitor and report key performance metrics, including quote conversion rates and sales campaigns, to foster accountability and continuous improvement in the Quotes Team. Use Gov Bid websites and platforms (ie: SmartProcure ) to seek out VA, US Government, State Gov, and Local Gov bidding opportunities, including responding to RFI’s, RFQ’s, and general open market inquiries.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of sales management experience with proven success in quote conversions. Demonstrated ability in account development and targeting. Demonstrate the ability to work well in a fast-paced, results-oriented sales environment. Strong analytical skills to convert customer information and identify opportunities for sales. Excellent negotiation and consultative selling abilities.
Education and Experience:
Associates required/Bachelor’s degree preferred. 3+ years sales management experience with demonstrated success in quote conversion and closing techniques. Track record of success in strategic account management and sales operations. Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing technology.
