Ignite Partners About the role The Product Marketing Specialist is a key player in driving sales growth by developing and executing product marketing strategies that support product positioning, new product launches, feature enhancements, and ongoing product lifecycle events. This includes crafting compelling annuity and life insurance product positioning, messaging, and storytelling that resonates with target audiences and aligns with market needs. Key responsibilities include collaborating on the development and execution of go-to-market plans, optimizing sales enablement tools, and driving adoption and engagement among producers. The Product Marketing Specialist will drive measurable success aligned to distribution and marketing goals. This role works closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales & Distribution, Product Development, PMO, and Compliance, to ensure alignment of product marketing strategies and maximize product adoption. Additionally, the Product Marketing Specialist will lead the creation of high-quality, impactful content and multi-channel campaigns designed to increase awareness, drive interest, and accelerate product adoption, all while extending the product lifecycle and ensuring sustained growth. What you’ll do Collaborate with stakeholders in the development of engaging content aligned with our key segments for product storytelling, positioning and maintenance. Ensure consistency and alignment of messaging across our product portfolio and both internal and market-facing content. Build deep relationships across the marketing org along with key stakeholders including Sales, Compliance, Product Development and Marketing to ensure alignment and utilization of our product marketing initiatives. Drive producer adoption and engagement via targeted campaigns and initiatives. Lead product marketing initiatives by creating and executing product marketing timelines to align with product launches, product updates, and key initiatives. Provide subject matter expertise and thought leadership to teammates within marketing and be a resource across the organization. Collaborate and provide insight into the product marketing process, incorporating market research, customer experience, trends, and propositions into the process. Monitor KPIs related to adoption, growth, engagement, and sales, presenting regular performance metrics and insights to marketing management. Continuously monitor market trends and customer feedback to refine product positioning and messaging. Performs other related work as assigned. Qualifications Related bachelor’s degree 1+ years of equivalent experience in the annuity product marketing Familiarity with annuity product positioning and marketing best practices Experience with new product and product enhancement initiatives Self-motivated work ethic with focus on results Excellent communication skills, fostering collaboration across organizational partners to align and accomplish a set of shared goals Ability to consume multiple sources of feedback and synthesize this into recommendations for product value propositions Strong storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify the complex Comfortable providing strategic direction to creative teams and ensuring content is aligned to achieving goals A proven track record of developing and executing successful Product Marketing campaigns and delivering to a timeline Ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment and to adapt to new situations as they arise Ability to work cross-functionality while managing and advancing multiple initiatives #LI-TP1
