Your Role At MilliporeSigma, based in the Boston MA area, the Integrated Systems and Hardware Field Marketing Application Specialist will be expected to execute regional marketing strategies, create insightful win/loss analysis, develop an in-depth understanding of market trends and to communicate the “voice of the customer” to the internal organization. Position involves 30% domestic travel to North America MilliporeSigma company sites and/or customer locations.
Responsibilities:
The Specialist will be responsible for; sales opportunity support, direct applications support, best practices content development and training, go-to-market strategy execution, and supporting new product launch strategies They will also develop and translate marketing plans into actionable opportunities and work with regional commercial teams and Business Partners to support and grow the Process Solution downstream business. This includes hardware, systems and the BioPharm materials portfolios You report back to the business by collecting voice of customers (VOC) from sales, and TSS (Technical Scientific Solutions) to influence the global marketing plans Who You Are Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific discipline (Biology, Chemistry, etc.) or Engineering discipline (Chemical, Mechanical, etc.) 5+ years related hands-on downstream purification experience in the biopharma industry Preferred Qualifications Working knowledge of Hardware and Systems Master’s degree in a Scientific, Engineering or Business discipline Demonstrated Customer, Marketing and Sales orientation Demonstrated ability to establish partnerships and ability to work in a collaborative environment using virtual tools The ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively to diverse audiences through both written and oral communications Proficient in Microsoft Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams Experience reporting and data analysis from a variety of systems Experience with development of chromatographic purification unit operations What we offer: We are curious minds that come from a broad range of backgrounds, perspectives, and life experiences.
